Exploring our Boundaries with Vertigo Dance Company, Israel

Connection. How do you find meaningful relationships and community within a transitory city like DC? How can you relate to those around you when Gen Y is always on the move? Well, you keep up. Test your personal boundaries with your peers as you explore your relation to those around you through movement and improvisational techniques. Vertigo Dance Company will lead us through a variety of exercises, challenging each of us to reach beyond our internal boundaries.

You, me, me, you

We all have a story, a personal narrative. We come from different backgrounds, and yet we all share one truth: we are all Jewish. Join an interactive discussion led by Robin Levenston, Regional Director, Jewish Agency for Israel, as we hear the stories of our peers from Israel who are also struggling to understand their identity as Jewish young professionals. In an open forum, we will put it all on the table and discuss the topics most relevant to us. Come ready to kvetch, kvell and speak up about the issues that matter most to you.

Finding spirituality as a Young Jewish Professional: What does it look like, feel like, and where does it come from?

Join Rick Recht in exploring the arenas where young adults find their connection with Judaism in this generation.  This workshop will include lots of fun singing and sharing.  Participants in this workshop will also have the opportunity to join in the evening Rick Recht concert.

Jewish Innovation: The Young Professional Voice

Come and experience an interactive discussion featuring Aharon Horwitz, the co-founder and director of the the PresenTense Group, and the co-founder of the PresenTense Institute for socially minded entrepreneurs. During this session, you will have the opportunity to learn about different tools and networks that you can use to change the world and inspire the Jewish People.
