Annie Lipsitz is a 27 year old woman fighting Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Since tissue type is inherited, a patient's best chance of finding a genetic match lies with those of similar ethnic background. Annie is of Jewish ancestry, but people of all backgrounds are encouraged to be tested. A simple cheek swab is all it takes to join the registry. MORE INFO

Five Israeli Wounded Warriors Join Americans for Bike Ride
Five wounded soldiers from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), who were sponsored by Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF), joined more than forty injured American veterans from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars for three days of bike riding around Manhattan and Long Island. "Haji" can sometimes be found impersonating "Borat" at Purim parties, but most of the time he is the Educational Director of the JEC in the Tri-State area. Although raised in New Haven, Aviva answered the call of the big city more than ten years ago. She is a graduate of New York’s Fashion Institute, earning a degree in marketing and communications. For the last three years Aviva produced special events for clients like Johnnie Walker, Adidas and MTV, as well as an indie rock concert series for New York magazine. Read More!

Natalie Solomon was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama (its weird to her too). She made her way to more 'normal' places like Washington, DC, Paris, Barcelona, Tel Aviv and finally New York as she pursued her undergraduate and graduate degrees. But, it is her love of one place, Israel, and one people, the Jewish people, that inspires her each and everyday. Read More!
