Jared is a Senior Fellow at Birthright Israel NEXT Philly and a Jazz Saxophonist who's in his last semester of school for Jazz Studies. He has been involved with Jewish communal work for the past three years. His dedication to Jewish community through Hillel work, and leading several Taglit-Birthright Israel trips earned him the prestigious Charlie Award from the Center for Leadership Initiatives.

Coming off a year in Israel, Danielle, a Philadelphia native, is thrilled to be on board as a fellow with Birthright Israel NEXT. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Jewish Studies at Gratz College. Her hobbies include reading and writing, as well as poker, scrabble and other competitive contact sports. Meet Nava
Nava Szwergold is a Birthright Israel NEXT Fellow. She is excited to share her knowledge and love of the city and its Jewish communities with others. She is a volunteer facilitator for the Jewish Dialogue Group and is part of an active Jewish community in West Philadelphia.
