Birthright Israel Excel is open to all Jewish young adults who are currently sophomores, juniors or seniors attending graduate programs in the fall of 2013. Eligible individuals are those recognized as Jewish by the Jewish community or by one of the recognized denominations of Judaism; or if either parent is Jewish AND the applicant does not actively practice another religion. A well-rounded academic background with coursework in finance or economics is recommended. Candidates must demonstrate academic strength – a minimum 3.0 GPA, strong SAT/ACT scores, demonstrated leadership skills and a high energy level.
